Since 2020 our trappers have removed 12,574 feral swine, 2,572 in 2025 alone.
The Natchitoches SWCD trappers use cellular remote operated traps to assist landowners in Natchitoches Parish experiencing feral hog damage. We have two trappers working full time at the request of Natchitoches parish landowners. The services of the traps and trapper to the landowner wanting to control the feral hog population on private land are available year round and are FREE OF CHARGE.
